Contact pill

The contact pill closes the contact on the PCB when key is pressed:

Dust: SMT Silicone Key is not a sealed contact system, therefore dust and humidity can get between contact pill and PCB. SC-Pills are currently the best contact technology in the market as they are very robust against contamination and humidity. Characteristics SC-Technology (SC-L and SC-M):

- Resistance < 1 Ohm with soft surface (with a diam. of 3.0 mm)
- Robust switching through distinctive voltage drop when pill hits PCB

- Robust for rotation actuation (soft and flexible surface)
